Yes, it’s true. We are shutting down the VC. Obviously this has been coming for a while. We shut down because we had a lack of members, and really the admins were getting tired of the whole Twilight scene. So we’re sorry to the members that we did have, and we’re very sorry to all those who had applied. Please, keep roleplaying though!

Hogwarts Elite?

We aren’t leaving the RP scene totally! Why would we? We have created a Twitter based RPG dedicated to the Harry Potter books! The RPG is brand new, so hardly any characters have been taken. Check out the new site:

After Dark

Hola, everyone!

This is just going to be a quick little post telling you about a new chat room we’ve just launched called the VC after dark. You can find it on the right side of the site. This chat room is for members ONLY and it’s for us to talk about everything that we can’t in the main VC Chatroll. It’s password protected, so if you’d like to gain access to the chat, DM any of the three admins and we’ll give you the password.

Updates and Casting

Hey, guys, it’s your admins here with a few updates for you.

First things first, we’ve decided that, as of right now, the site is going to be permanantly stationed at wordpress. It’s very simple, clean, and easy to navigate. For those of you that don’t know, wordpress was our location for a long time, so switching back is the best decision since we already know how to work it. We hope you, the members and fans, find wordpress just as nice as we do.

Now, applications for Jacob Black are now open. To apply, go to the “Auditions” page, and fill out the form. Please remember, also, to read the rules of applying page before you send in your application.

Welcome back?

Wow. There’s definitely a LOT to talk about in this first post. I’ll start with saying that we’re not completely sure if we’re going to be staying here at wordpress, at this point in time it’s probably about an 85% chance. The reason that we have to move from ning (even though we loved it so much) is because the new Ning CEO decided that they were going to revoke the option of having a free social network and frankly, none of the admins can really afford to be paying to keep the Ning running, so we were forced to move.

We’re still working on making the wordpress look as nice as we can but there are some features that were on the ning that we won’t be able to have here such as the chat and the forum. We decided to revert back to our old chat room format on chatroll, and you can find the link to the chatroll in the navigation bar on the right. The forum was just sort of for fun, but no one seemed to really need or use it, so that doesn’t really matter. If you want to create plots with fellow members, you can find them in the chat or DM them on twitter and work out something there. In the future maybe, if it’s needed, we’ll start a forum on a forum site but as of now it’s not needed.

We’ve also added a new feature to the site. The rating system. I’ve added ratings next to each characters link. If you feel your character is not rated correctly, leave a comment or DM one of the admins.
